A takedown notice is not the same thing as being wrong.
Sometimes the notice is legitimate. Sometimes it is lazy. Sometimes it is aggressive posturing dressed up to look official. The problem is that once you get one, the clock starts running on your judgment.
The wrong response can make a manageable problem worse. Ignoring it can be a mistake. Overreacting can also be a mistake. Filing a response without understanding the underlying risk can box you in fast.
The real question is not whether the sender sounds angry. The real question is whether the claim has teeth, what platform is involved, what was used, what rights are actually in play, and what record you are creating with your response.
I help clients figure out what the notice actually means, what risk it presents, and what the smartest next move is. That may mean removal. That may mean response. That may mean pushback. It depends on the facts, not the volume.
If you received a takedown notice, send it through intake along with the content at issue and where it was posted.
